Because it's the gathered area and a black and white pattern, I wore it without worrying (see photos).
No lining, sturdy fabric.

Both have a neat appearance and are the superb balance of not being too sexy.

Both can have the collar removed, so you can remove the collar and wear it as a cache-coeur style dress when you want a more resort-favor feel.

Concealed zipper on the back.
