Vintage kokeshi doll holding flute

This vintage wooden and paint kokeshi doll holds what appears to be a flute. It has a top knot above flowing hair. It is signed by Imai Gyokushi with a red seal. It is in pretty good condition with a patina of dust and scratches with the opening of the joint between the top and bottom parts evident. It is tight and not loose. There is a hole in the bottom from the fabrication process. It is about 7 inches tall and weighs 8.7 ounces. outstanding for everyday use. superior materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
