This piece is beyond stunning. The colors are fabulous. It is in astonishing condition for its age. There is just one tiny rip in canvas (I have a close up in pictures) & a few small flakes of paint missing. The painting is not signed, but I know the provenance of this piece as it was an original painting from our 1850's farmhouse. It measures 25"×13". The canvas backing has browned over time. There is a exceptionally old wooden shim on the back of the canvas & frame....securing painting to frame.
